DJ Zorro shows
DJ Zorro (Real Name) George Lawson-Bennett was born and bred in the U.K. DJ Zorro was raised in a Christian home from birth and as a young boy committed to Jesus Christ. However, DJ Zorro turned his back on his faith for some 11 years. He very quickly got known in the U.K secular Hip Hop scene and was the warm-up DJ for many big Hip Hop Shows. Such as Public Enemy, E.P.M.D. Leaders of The New School, Naughty by Nature, and many more.
DJ Zorro renewed his walk with Christ in December 1999 after God spoke to him calling him a hypocrite for shielding his Daughter from the filthy language of the secular music whilst he revelled in it himself. In November 2001 DJ Zorro along with his wife Launched a Gospel club night called Gospel Renaissance. This was the beginning of DJ Zorro’s gospel DJ career.
In the summer of 2007 DJ Zorro’s radio show “Street Flava” was first broadcasted on Cross Rhythms Radio The show is a vibrant a nonstop mix of hard-hitting gospel urban beats.
